Episode 5 of The Fame Game Show puts our “pretty lady in pink,” Susie Cross, in the spotlight—and it’s a standout installment for fans of live performance, comedy banter, and classic game-show energy.
The episode opens with Susie delivering a strong musical moment with a Keith Urban cover (“We Were Us,” co-written by Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban). It’s the kind of performance that reminds you this series isn’t just a game show it’s a variety show built around real talent. Susie is joined by guitarist John Tate, and the chemistry is immediate.
From there, we get to know Susie beyond the stage. In a fun, fast interview, she shares her background (piano, musical theater, jazz, classic rock, and country) and talks candidly about what it’s like performing in a Vegas scene that loves covers—but still making room for original work. That original side comes through when Susie performs her own country song, “The Ballad of Banjo Jo.”
Then the episode pivots into the game-show portion: “Name That Melody.” Susie is joined by her friends Maile Onsaga and John for a buzzer-style showdown packed with quick guesses, friendly competition, and the kind of improvised jokes that make the show feel live and unpredictable. (If you love Elton John, you’ll enjoy this segment.)
Finally, you’ll meet Paul Gregory, introduced as the new co-host/keyboardist making this the final episode from the Hey Vegas studio before the show moves into its new studio.
