A Heartwarming New Christmas Film About Belief and Second Chances
This new holiday film introduces viewers to Charlie, played by Steve Urbano, a longtime Sacramento department store Santa who loses his job when Macys closes. For years he brought joy to families through the beloved Winter Wonderland program, but now Christmas is approaching and Charlie feels adrift. His dream role has vanished and he wonders whether anyone still needs him.
Everything changes when a young girl named Tiffany, facing a frightening diagnosis, makes a final wish. She wants to meet Santa so she can share a deeply personal secret before time runs out. When a local wish foundation searches for the right Santa, Charlies name rises to the top. The opportunity pushes him to rediscover his purpose.
Charlie reaches out to his former Winter Wonderland coworkers, gathering the scattered team for one last magical performance. The cast includes Steve Urbano, Allyson Robinson, Sophia Marcs, Paul T Williams, Sarina Krastev, Esha Tewari, Tiffany Martinez, Toby T Johnson, Ty Herting, Kendall Callisto, and Shane Maus. Their comedic energy and heartfelt enthusiasm bring new life to Charlies mission.
Directed by Mike Scordakis, the film blends humor with emotional depth. The script explores themes of hope, reinvention, and the ways communities rally when a family is overwhelmed. In the moving final sequence, set inside a secret Elk Grove wonderland built just for Tiffany, she meets Santa, shares her secret, and discovers that her future holds more hope than she imagined.
This Christmas story highlights how belief is often renewed through simple acts of kindness. It reminds viewers that even when life changes unexpectedly, we all have the power to show up for someone who needs us.
